I can finally take a break

Back after 8 months of not blogging. The reason that I have not been blogging frequently is because of the heavy workload and projects that have been piled on me. Moreover, I also do not have much things to blog about as my life is quite mundane and standard.

The last few weeks have really been the hell of my life. Endless projects and endless tutorials has really stopped me from taking a breather and really relax. What's more one of my projects is being screwed up by one of my group member which really escalates the worse situation. However, I am really lucky to have two of my best friends cum brothers really helped me a lot along the way. Without them, I bet we will not finish our projects. Final year in poly is really crazy and I really hope that time passes slowly so that we have time to complete our projects.

Thursday is the day that I have stayed the latest in school. Reached home really 11pm because of the financial statements that we needed to submit the next day. The worst thing is that friday's lessons starts at 8am which is really so tiring. After the submission of our project, the food and the nap that I took really feels good and better than ever. I really can take a good rest from now until 1 month later which is the start of our semestral examinations.

I really hope that I can do well for the semestral exams as my grades have really dropped for this semester especially AFA. I am really scared that I can't get an A for this module as the questions are all so tricky and time consuming. I hope that this paper will not end up like my financial accounting module where I can't finish the paper and ended up being pulled by the semestral exam.

Anyway, good luck to all those athletes participating is this year's Youth Olympic Games and get as many gold medals for Singapore as possible. Jiayou

Finally a new post

At last there is new entry in my blog after so many months of inactivity. Feeling very stressed with tutorials and tests piling up daily on my schedule(which explains my inactivity in this blog). Just finished my two CAs recently which is FACC and CACC. This two paper is a killer. Most importantly. our CACC lecturer really sets papers very hard. However, I really find it challenging while doing his paper which makes it so quite enjoying(weird of me).

Recently just went to the pre-ITP briefing last Wednesday. The briefing is not boring at all with all the jokes and laughs while the speaker briefed on the ITP/ As expected, there is all the usual stuff during the briefing, calling students to be punctual and be polite and respectful towards colleagues and supervisor. Blah Blah. However, the most stupid part of this briefing is to write a letter to our placement company telling them what we study in our course.

I felt reall angry and frustrated these few days because of the school's decision to let me do the ITP in SP itself. Why can't they just find a company for me. Is it because I am a handicapped and they find it a nuisance to find me an external company? If this is so, this is really fucked up(but this is the reality of life anyway). The reason that I enrolled in a polytechnic is to experience what it feels like stepping out to society and work and not just stationed at a fixed place to learn what is required in the working world.

For those of you reading my blog, can you please advice me on what I should do for this dilemma. Should I accept the school's offer and do the ITP at school or should I insist on them finding an external company for me? Please say your advice in my tagboard

Holidays are boring :(

Rotting at home and doing nothing is really a torture for me. However, I finally went outside of my home to go out with friends and watch movie and went to see a few wheelchairs that I can consider purchasing.

Last wed, had my very first experience of watching a 3D movie in theatres. Wanted to watch Gamer first but the movie is M18 which means that seehong cannot watch the movie as he haven't reached the legal age. Decided to settle on the movie G-force. I felt that the 3D effects are quite real and it really makes you feel that you are in the movie itself. Overall, the movie is quite enjoyable. However, the only thing I do not like the movie is the absence of subtitles which makes me not able to understand some of the sentences spoken by the characters.

Last friday, went to SPD to see a few wheelchairs to decide which wheelchair to purchase and know which is the most affordable wheelchair available. Decided to settle on a wheelchair which enables me to wheel myself and use the motorised wheelchair function at the same time. Decided to meet at some other time to know the price of the wheelchair and the price of the current wheelchair installed with the motor.

The rest of the week is spent on working in my auntie's workplace and do some double entry work. Really felt tired for the first time which working in her workplace as I had do not have any first hand experience working in a company. But I had to admit that I learnt a lot of things while working in her workplace and really lets me know what is the experience of working in a company.

I am so puzzled and I faced a difficult decision as to whether to continue working on her company this coming weekend as I really want to take a rest and not stress myself out while in holiday mood(I know that's an excuse) or to just stay at home and rot all day. PS: To all my readers, can give me some advice on this issue. Thanks!!!!

Just received my results this morning. The results are within my expectations and I really hope that I can get better results next semster and try worker for my upcoming modules.

Just finished exams last thursday morning. Feeling really elated and ecstatic that exams are at last over because I can stop burining midnight oil and wake up early to take the exams. Frankly speaking, the exam timetable really sucks. The reason is because every paper is scheduled at 9am which is so sucky and you will have to wake up early to prepare for exams. That really sucks!!!

The exams are manageable except the last paer which is so difficult and it really needs more than two hours to finish the paper. Mr Ng is so cold-blooded. Haha.

After exams had finished, went to take a break at pizza hut and enjoy a meal at last. The food at Pizza Hut really tasted nice for the first time(don't know what is the reason, maybe the elation that I felt after the exams had finished which makes everything taste so nice. Haha)

After that went back home to sleep and did not join my classrooms to chill outside. Really felt very tired and I just collapsed on my bed and just sleep which was so comfortable.

Nothing much to blog about other than exams. Holidays have started but I really do not have an idea what to do during the holidays excepts watching online shows in the web and just rot at home. LOL. Will be going out tomorrow to check out the motorised wheelchairs that is arranged by SPD. Hope I can find an ideal wheelchair :)

Going to slug it out during these few weeks

Been busy with a lot of things after the term break has ended with projects and tests all piling up. Do not have time to take a breather and relax. Well, the next few weeks is a crucial week for me as the semester exams are coming up with a 50% weightage on the modules. This is do or die for me. That why I had to really slug it out these few last weeks and mug for exams.

By the way, had a refreshing change in the grouping doing the Fundamentals of Finance and Business Law project. Just got back our Finance project and the marks really surprised me. Good job guys. Frankly speaking, I did not contribute much for both these two projects so I have to really count my lucky stars if I really do well for these two projects. In short, I am a free rider for these two projects.

As compared to other groups, I am really lucky to have such motivated and hardworking group members who really contributed a lot to these two projects for example, junjie, sze gek and joey. Lots of thanks to them.

First paper is Fundamentals of Finance and last paper is cost accounting, I am really worried for two of my modules which are Taxation and Business Law. Taxation is difficult because of all those complicated reliefs and judging which relief that the individual is eligible to. Really gives me headaches. On the other hand, Business Law had a lot of facts to memorize which can really squeeze out all of my brain juices out. I really hope that my brain can be a hard disk with 1TB capacity to fill up all those facts and the concepts into my brain.

Wish me good luck for the exams. Haha.

Really hopes that justice can be served in this world.

Sentosa event rocks

The MST exam has finally ended and it is a really frustrating and traumatic week for me because all the papers are so difficult and it really sucks when you have to guess the answers when doing MCQ. And the final thing is although I did balance my balance sheet in FACC, but hell did I make a careless mistake. Really sucks when you have balanced but you are wrong because you have made a stupid and redundant mistake. Shall not harp too much on the MST papers because when you mentioned it, it really makes me so pissed.

Last paper is Thursday, after the cost accounting paper, we stayed back to discuss the sentosa outing on friday. Been really excited about this outing because this is officially our first outing since stepping into Singapore Polytechnic. But too bad a few of my classmates did not otherwise it will be very good. Decided on who brings what and what food to bring and what time to meet up.

Reached Sentosa really late aroud 12pm because I initially said that I am going to Sentosa around 10 to 11 smth but turned up really late for the outing, Sorry guys :(. Anyway, started eating all the sumptous food there. It really tasted nice especially the beehoon. Thank Sutra's Mum for cooking. After that played "Truth or Dare" with my classmates. Pearlyn talking a tree and zhenyu flirting with a fugl statue. Haha really very fun playing with them. While the others played soccer and resting on the beach, I chatted with some of my classmates.

Went home around 4 something and fetched my niece back home with my brother.

Note to DAC 06: All of you have really been great to organize this outing. This really made me more bonded with my class and I never regret going for this outing. You guys really gives me a sense of belonging to this class(so mushy but it is really true) and final words to all of you. You guys rocks big time!!! Really hope that every semester will have such a outing for all of us. Sounded really greedy. HAHA

Srudying exams during holidays is really sucky

Finally a new entry after one month of MIA. Been busy in the new semester with projects, tests and assigments all piling up. Finding really difficult to adjust from Year 1 to Year 2. Has I chosen the wrong course in Polytechnic?

Studying during the holidays to prepare for the MST after the holidays had ended. $ modules being tested but these 4 modules are really difficult to study especially Business Law with so much memorization work. Offer, Agreement, Arbitration and Mediation. Who the hell created Business Law, come out with so much chim words and difficult to understand law terms.

The other 3 modules needs mostly caluclation so there is not much to study, instead I really must practice a lot to get the format and the formulas inside my brain. Why are there no past year papers to let us practice??? Why should we do the tutorials again when we already do the tutorials during the term to prepare for lessons??? This is so crappy but just have to make do with doing the tutorials again.

After one week of holidays, I had only studied finished Chapter 1 of Business Law. Left with so many things to study but had no motivation to study at all with all the temptation of the laptop to play games and the television. Decided to call my cliques to study at SP next week so as to really concentrate on studying and not touch these things. I really have to curb these temptations and not like Adam and Eve in the Bible. HAHA

By the way on the last day of school, went to watch movie with my clique in Vivocity because we want to wind down before we pia for exams. Managed to catch the "Night at the Museum", find it really funny and amusing and so hilarious. But after watching Night at the Museum 1 which is shown n Channel 5 recently, I still prefer watching teh second series because it is so much more funnier. I had to rate this movie 3/5 because there are some parts that are so stupid and the storyline is not realistic at all. If you want to watch a movie to wind down and laught it out, you should catch this movie.

Been really busy lately with all the assignments and upcoming projects. Also had to cope with the increasing demands of the module which is so difficult to understand and I had to really practice a lot to get all those formats and procedures in my mind. Take this morning for example, when I was doing the Financial Accounting tutorial, I made alot of mistakes when I was trying to do the full set of accounts. I even need to do one of my Balance in another new piece of paper as it is so messy. I really hope that I can get back the groove of doing the full set of accounts just like last year.

Another thing that I hate about this year is that there are still projects that needs to be completed for example the taxation project. When I read the requirements of the project, I was so sian because it is so difficult and it required a lot of research to get a high mark for this porject, not just a marginal pass. Really hope that I can overcome this difficult period as soon as possible and get good marks for this project.

Managed to catch X-men origins: Wolverine woth zhenyu and jj at GV Vivocity. At first I did not want to catch this movie as I do not like X-men series too much, but after watching this movie, I reallu find that this movie is indeed nice afterall which is different from other X-men series. I will definitely recommend this movie and I will rate this movie 4/5.

Nothing to update liao and I think I will post another entry when my project is completed and the holidays had started. Bye and cya :)

School has officially reopened :)

I am so happy and sad at the same time for being officially a second year DAC student. Happy is because I can see my friends again when school reopens but sad because I have to learn new modules and juggle all those stupid projects, exams and assignments at the same time.

Although I did not like my timetable at first glance, I realise that my timetable is quite good after all except the three hour break in monday. This is because I can sleep later and wake up later as compared to last year where I had a alot of 8am lessons. Secondly, I realise that the other classes in the cohort had longer breaks than us which is so sickening and waste of time and effort.

The new lecturers that taught us this year are quite friendly and funny especially the Fundaments of Finance(FF) teacher which uses some Hokkien to teach us which is so weird lol. But his teachings are quite easy to understand and digest.

Other than that, our new PTN(Personal Tutor Network) is our taxation teacher. Find him quite good afterall but I think he will be strict in us and his lessons.

After studying all the modules for this week, I find that the most suckiest module is the Business Law module which is so wordy and the notes are so wordy that it can be written in encycleopedias(is it too exaggerating??). Other than that, the content are so dry that I think I can doze off a any minute during the lectures and tutorials. But I think the most easiest to score is this module because it contains a lot of memorization which requires little research and outside knowledge.

Do no want to elaborate on the other lecturers because if I harp on everyone, this entry is going to be wordy. My last comments as a second year student: Although the lessons are boring and dry, I do not find it as boring with the company of my friends and my class. Haha

Back to school finally

Today went back to Singapore Polytechnic to help out in the Accounts Game for the freshmen in SP. When I reached School of Business, I was shocked to find that it is completely renovated. I wonder what they are going to build for the new year ahead. That really made me puzzled.

By the way, decided to go to the BizIT library to read some newspapers with my father as it is still early. Went up to the classroom and meeting place with Rashyidah. At first we thought we will meet at T2152 for the game but instead, our class was separated into different groups and classrooms for the game. Stationed instead at T2151 for the game. Grouped together with Zhineng, Sutra and Joey. Had to assign duties which is who to become a facilitator and the banker for the game. Decided to choose the role of facilitators as I am afraid of counting the money wrongly. Haha. The game is quite similar to Monopoly but I think it is easier than Monopoly and the rules are quite easy to understand. The rules were to make as many money as possible from selling diapers or renting out shop units by collecting rent.

After talking to the teacher, I finally realised that the teacher is our Taxation lecturer(but dunno whether he also teaches us tutorial lessons). After chatting with him, I find him quite a nice and friendly teacher.

While playing the game with the freshmen, I feel that they are really luck to interact with one another as I think we as freshmen last year never had as much enjoyable time as them because SP really conducted very few activities to interact with one another. And SP really gave a nice T-shirts(nicer that our SP T-shirt last year) and some drinks and snakcs to freshmen such as kit-kat which is so lucky and fortunate.

The highest earner in the game earned a profit of around of 2ok something which is quite lucky and commendable. Haha. After packing all the things, decided to go with zhenyu to fc5 to eat KFC. Fetched along pearlyn for his meeting and sutra to meet his friend. After reaching fc5, I am amazed by the renovations and every table has 4 plugs which is quite enough for a group which saves us the hassle of finding power plugs when doing projects. But the one weakness is that table is too high for me to do projects and eat. After went back home when zhenyu goes to moberly.

My first attempt at being a facilitator: I find it quite a refreshing experience for me as I needed to warm up the atmosphere of the freshmen while playing. But did not managed to do so because I think it is too inconvenient for me. I think I made the wrong decision of being the facil. I should instead opt to become the banker as it is easier and I can do much more things. Hope I will be given a chance to become a banker next year.

Finally feel like blogging my semester results in my blog. When I saw my results on handphone as I had subscribed the sms service from SP, I was really surprised because firstly, I do not expect my weakest and hatest module which is CRS to get a B+, that is so unexpected because I did not really do not know how to the essay.

Secondly, I am also quite surprised by my results in my ITAB module because as from my previous posts, I say that my project is not superior to other groups project. But managed to get an A which is so happy.

Last Day in Genting Highlands

Woke up around 7.30 because had to eat breakfast as early as possible so as to check out from the resort around 10.30. Went down to the same cafe as the previous day to tuck in pur breakfast. However, the food is still the same as the previous day which does not whet my appetite at all. Forced myself to ea he food as I think that I am going to have a late lunch because of the journey Malacca to eat at a famous Nyonya restaurant which my uncle recommends.

After eating, went back to the resort to take a rest as the journey to Malacca is going to take around 2 to 3 hours which is so long.

After packing all our things, we checked out from the resort punctually. However, we have to wait our relatives to pack their belongings at the other resort in our car. After all the people have assembled, we set out together to Malacca. However, after reaching there, we got lost along the way and we could not find the location of the restaurant. Therefore, my uncle have to check their GPS to check out the exact location of the restaurant. After finding the location, we found out the restaurant is closed and would not open until around dinnertime. That is a pity for us not to taste the food there. Settled to eat at a hawker centre there and we ordered a lot of there such as bak ku teh and chicken rice and lots more. The food there is cheap and nice which is much much better that SIngapore hawker fare. Afer eating our hearts content, we separated our own ways to shop around the stalls and shopping there. Did not managed to buy anything there.

After shopping, we decided to go back to Singapore. Along the way, I slept in the car. After passing all the Customs, we managed to reach home at around 9pm.

Comments on Genting trip: As this is my first time going to Genting, I have widened my scope and my knowledge as this is my first time going overseas and out of Singapore. However, my only regret is that I cound not play at the theme park there and the place is not handicap friendly at all as there are a lot of staircases and obstacles along the way. I hope to go there for a holiday again to enjoy the cool weather there and escape from the stressful and boring environment of Singapore.

Tomorrow is my unveiling of my results. Hope that I can pass my modules(especially CRS) and graduate to year 2 smoothly. Wish good luck for me :)

2nd Day of Genting Highlands trip

Woke up around 5.30am in the morning because I can't sleep in the previous night. Decided to play my uncle's PSP while waiting for my parents to eat the complimentary breakfast in the First World Cafe in our resort.

After changing, went to the cafe for breakfast. I will have to say that there are quite a variety of food there such as Chinese and Western breakfast such as beehoon and hotdog and eggs respectively. Took a lot of food there as we are too famished. Although the variety is quite varied, but the taste of the food is only average. I have one complaint there which is that there are too many people there and they are taking the breakfast buffet like they have not eaten for days. They are like refugees. Haha and some of the people there do not have any courtesy, giving way to me and my parents. They treat us like a glass sia.

After eating, decided to call my brother where he is as he is not in our room. Found out that he is at the casino trying their luck. Haha. Decided to join them and win money there. However, I have lost my brother's credit and money in the jackpot game.

After that, my relatives decided to bring their children to the theme park. My brother decided to accompany them to theme while their parents wanted to go to casino. Went along with the theme park with them. The tickets for me are free as I am handicapped and my father only needs to pay RM20 to play the games there. However, after entering the theme park, I cannot play the games there as it will be too dangerous for me. So decided to walk the theme park around to see whether there are any nice places to go around.

However, we cannot contact my mother, bro and my relatives as they never listened their phones. So in the end, went back to the resort to have some rest as I am feeling sleepy because of waking up too early. After sleeping for two hours, went to see the casino whether they are there anot but to no avail. By the way, thanks to the security there as he helps us to call our relatives because my father do not have auto roaming. However, with the pressing of buttons by the security guard, we managed to contact them. Decided to meet up with them to discuss our dinner location after knowing where they are. However, after finding out that the food are so expensive there, decided to go to the same restaurant as the previous day.

After eating our dinner, we decided to catch on the a show called Dreamz in the the Pavilion where we had ordered tickets the previous day. My comments for the show are that it is nice and enjoyable as there are dangerous performances in the show such as motorsports and the unveiling of white tiger and lion there. This is my first time witnessing the animals which is so beautiful. After discussing with my parents and relatives, we decided to take photo with animals as each photo costs at least RM30 which is so expensive.

After catching the performance, decided to have a early sleep to have our batteries recharged for tomorrow's programme when we will go back home and stop by Malacca to have our lunch.

Tomorrow will be my last entry on the last day of the stay in Genting Highlands and Malaysia. Cya tml

Day 1 of Genting Highlands trip

I am going to update for three days on my genting highlands trip in last weekend. I am going to say out my Day 1 of my Genting Highlands trip in this trip. Here it goes:

Have to wake up really early in the morning to get in Malaysia without having to experience the packed traffic jam in the Causeway. But first my parents had to collect my mother's passport which had to be extended which is so last minute. In the end had to reach the Causeway late to meet our relatives to go in to Genting together as my father do not know the directions to Genting which is why I decided to go Genting with my relatives because of the queue in the passports office.

After meeting our relatives, we decided to go to Genting straight away as it will be a long and treacherous journey when reaching our destination. However, after passing Singapore Customs, we got lost on the way because of the wrong directions given by my uncle. Waste a lot of time finding and searching my uncle's location. However after keeping in contact with him, we finally went to Genting together.

Decided to stop by A & W to eat our lunch. We ordered a lot of things such as onion rings, burgers and waffles ice cream to share the food together. Find the food there not very appetising and delicious as I think that the food there is overcooked.

After eating our lunch, decided to continue our journey. Decided to take a nap and rest at my car as I felt too tired while travelling in the car. The journey to our destination took at least 6 hours to finally our place and take a rest there.

We decided to check in at the First World hotel/resort as my uncle have already booked a room there. After taking our rooms, we find that the place is so cold that we do not need to switch on the aircons and fan there. Feel like blowing air con there. We stayed at the 20th view which gives us a splendid view of the scenery there. But the scenery there is mostly covered by mist there as the resort is high up in the mountains.

Around 7, decided to have our dinner at the mushroom restaurant near our resort. My relatives ordered a lot of dishes there which include chicken and much much more. After eating our dinner, I decided to go to casino to try my luck there as I maybe will have beginner's luck there(LOL). When I reached the casino, decided to play the jackpot as my family do not wanna gamble big there and lose a lot of money there. After playing a few rounds, I really win some money but in the end because of the addiction of gambling, my profits have dropped to RM4 which is so little as to compared to RM8 previously. LOL, so advice to all: do not gamble too much or else you will lose a lot and regret. Haha

After playing a few rounds in the casino, decided to go back sleep at our respective resort rooms and sleep and will play our heart's content tomorrow.

Boring Holidays

Although holidays have started for me, but I really felt so uneventful and so boring during this holidays. No jobs, no outings, no good shows to watch. This really frustrates my nerves. This few weeks, I have spent my holidays watching movies in my Miotv and watching dramas in my latop. I have to say that Mio tv is quite boring as there are bery few channels to enjoy unlike StarHub cable which has so many nice channels and EPL matches. Miotv only broadcasts Seria A matches which is not so popular in Singapore and the matches are so late that I decided to sleep instead of staying up late to watch the matches.

In 26/2/09 thurs, I spent the afternoon going with my friends to Marina Square. The food there are so expensive that we do not what to eat during this recession period(Man,this is economics again). However, we have decided to eat at Billy Bombers Restaurant. However, the serving of the food is quite small compared to the last visit I went with my bro and his girlfriend. However, because of some things, I had to go back early instead of watching a movie with them.

During these few days of watching stephan chow movies, I really feel that he is really hilarious and funny in his potrayal of his character. Our local director, Jack Neo and his J Team really pales in comparison compared to him. Stephan Chow is really my idol!!!

Ending of this post. I think I have nothing to write these few days and few weeks unless something significant happens during this holidays.

PS: Zhenyu, can you please organize a class outing asap!!! Really hope to have a fun time together with my DAC06 mates

Holidays are at last here!!!!

It is time to celebrate because the exams are at last over. Like I said in my previous entry, after my projects had ended, I did not have time to rest but to revise for my exams. Been feeling really tired during the exam period as the chapters are so much and heavy on my brain. It is just like reading a dictionary. Haha, that is serious.

During this exam period, I spent a lot of time revising Economics as this is the most difficult module to score. I feel really relieved when I do the paper as I can attempt almost all the questions which is so lucky for me as I expect this paper to be the most difficult of all papers.

Next up is the Principles of Accounting paper. Man, of all the modules, this module is the most confident paper of all as I have experience of doing PACC during my secondary school years. Least did I expect this is the most difficult paper that I ever attempted when studying PACC. The questions are so tricky that if I miss a detail, I would get the whole question all wrong. I really need to pray to ensure that I can get an A for this paper.

The last paper which has just ended this morning, the Statistics of Business paper. This exam is fairly easy but also tricy but not as difficult as the Principles of Accounting Paper. However, I screwed up the last question which constitutes 10% of the paper. This is like so sian as I really know how to do this question but I just screwed up on this when I divide the significance by 2.

Shall not elaborate the CRS and MOB paper as I feel that I really did not feel very confident of scoring for this two papers. Can I really get a GPA of 3.5 this year???? I will pray day and night to get my desired result. Haha

Well after my last paper ended, I went out with my friends to chill out and watch movies in Jurong Point. Been feeling puzzled about which movie to catch but finally decided on the movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Although this movie is very long-winded, I felt that this movie is really touching and meaningful and it has some funny moments especially the part where an elderly say that he had been struck by lightning 7 times and the movie will show how he is being struck by lightning when he is young. All those scenes are really funny. Haha

Although the exams are finally over, I really have to ponder how to pass this 3 months wisely and meaningfully. Am I going to watch online shows on my laptop everyday?? This is like so sian. Really hope that I can manage find a job this upcoming holidays.

Had a GREAT TIME today

I would have to say today is the happiest day since starting poly life. This is because today is our class gathering. I would have to say that we had a really good time today with laughs and happiness around pizza hut.

During economics tutorial, when everybody is feeling really sian because it is a 8am lesson, one of my classmates Sze Gek suggested to Zhenyu our class chairperson that we should go and spend the $7.50 on pizza hut because if we do not spend it, it will be sort of like forfeited so why not spend it today since we had a two hour break before PACC lecture as the economics lecture is cancelled. At first, I felt that I am going to do nothing during the four hours of break today(there is an additional two hours break while waiting for our CRS make up lesson). This is like so sian because today is friday and we should enjoy this day since it is the last day before the weekends. I even suggested to Pearlyn and JJ to go subway later after the PACC lecture. But we feel that Sze Gek's suggestion is quite good and clever since we should make use of Singapore Poly money.

When we reached pizza hut, it was at first closed. So we decided to play cards in Foodcourt 5 since we had nothing to do. After the pizza hut opened, we started ordering what we wanna eat. But we had so many disputes and disagreements with regards to whether which pizza we should choose. We even made the auntie wait for so long lol. Even the auntie expects this will happen to us. HAHA!!! We decided to order the group set lunch and some also ordered pastas and baked rice. We still had the balance after ordering our group set lunch(as 10 of our classmates never come so we used to their share to spend together lol). So we decided to order drumlets and garlic bread to spend i lol.

Although we ordered a lot of food, there is still a lot of leftovers. So we decided to play the game like CodeBreaker to punish the people to eat the leftover garlic bread and drumlets. We even had a jackpot in that there is also a leftover pizza. After the game ends, I am very lucky that I did not eat anything because I cannot eat too much and I am very full at that time lol. In the end, Pearlyn eat the most garlic bread(I think she will have a phobia of eating garlic bread liao. Haha) and Sutra eat the leftover drumlets and of course Zhenyu hit the jackpot. LOL

After eating all the food and all the punishments, we proceeded to attend the PACC lecture. The lecture is like so empty and I have to say I did not pay full attention to what Mrs Sharon Tan is speaking because we were always laughing about Connie(Haha,if we wanna know who is Connie,just give me a message). After the PACC lecture ended, we decided to go the BizIT library to rot the rest of the two hours. We also met Sze Gek and Zixin in the library which is so coincidental lol. We gossip about Wu Bai and his songs "你是我的花朵“ his dance steps and lyrics so damn hilarious lol.

However, I am dealt a bad news during the CRS make up lesson that Ms Ann never managed to see my essay. So I had to reluctantly do it again lol. Sian sia.

By the way, today is Sutra's birthday. Happy Birthday!!!!! and I should blame Zhi Neng for always saying today is not his birthday but it is indeed his.

I'm Back

Feeling really elated and "high" these few days because my projects are at last over!!!IDEAS,MOB and the most sickening and irritating ITAB projects are at last over!!!

We started with our MOB project first as the report must be submitted after Chinese New Year. Man, I really feel jaded and tired doing the MOB project as we need to chiong finish this project on Tuesday which is right after Chinese New Year. Why can't they let us enjoy our CNY break and let us be happy?!?!?!? However, after all the efforts of my group members, we finally finished the report at last and submitted it on time on wednesday.

Secondly, after completing this project, we had to start with both the IDEAS and ITAB project as this two projects need to be presented consectively in two days. IDEAS project is quite an easy project for our group as we had already think of what to create for our project which is a helmet that has wiper,gas mask and solar panel which is called Visorgaz Helmeto. Haha, quite a funny name right??

I like this design. Chio sia!!!!

I have to say that this project is quite smooth sailing as this easy is quite easy and it just requires assignment of who to do what features only. The presentation is also good as we anticipated few problems and questions along the way. I think the teacher is also impressed with our work.

However, another obstacle came to our way which is the most difficult project that we have encountered which is of course the ITAB project. This project basically calls us to create a webpage which includes features that we have not learnt such as mouseover, collapsible list. This really sucks as we really sucks at IT-related subjects. However, we still get on with this project so as to pass this module. I really have to say thank you to one of my group member which is Jun Jie. This is because he really put in a lot of effort and time on this project. Although he said that he does not know a thing about frontpage, I still feel that he did a good job. I also wanna thank Pearlyn and Zhenyu who created the Flash movie single-handedly which is incredible. Although the movie is simple, I still felt that it is a job well done by them!!!! During the presentation of the ITAB project, I really felt guilty as I did not contribute much on the Frontpage. I only concentrated on the report which constitutes only 35% of the project. I really fel sorry for the rest of my group members.... After witnessing the other groups webpage, I feels that our webpage pales in comparison as we did not have much animations. I really hope that we can pass this project with flying coulours. God, please help and bless us!!!!

During the course of doing the ITAB project, we celebrated Zhenyu's birthday. I should not say celebrate as Pearlyn bought a cake for Zhenyu to give him a surprise. This group of cliques really rocks my day because of all the jokes and laughs. Haha. Hope we can continue this after we graduated from poly.

By the way, STATS tutorial really very funny today as Zhenyu's Auntie say he looks like Wu Bai. Haha, really funny sia....

Projects and exams are stressing me up!!!!

As can be shown on the blog title, I have tons of projects and revision waiting for me to complete before the long holidays starts in February. Because of the gazillions of assignments and projects waiting for completion, I could not even relax and really take a breather. I wonder why should we even study IDEAS which is Innovation, Design and Enterprise in Actions when we should study and concentrate on Accountancy.

We should be like Ngee Ann Polytechnic who studied Financial Accounting in their first year and do not have the crap module, IDEAS. Not only that, why should we even waste our time studying Critical Reasoning Skills when we are not studying in the CASS school in Singapore Polytechnic. All these modules are really getting on my nerves and Iwill go bonkers anytime if this ordeal continues. If Ngee Ann polytechnic has better accessibility and facilities with lifts and ramps around the polytechnic, I will not be wasting my time studying all these crap modules. But too bad, time could not turned back and choose our modules again. Haiz!!! I can only moan and groan and sigh now!!!!

During these two to three weeks time, my cliques are just rushing through project after project and did not have time to chill out together. When one project has been finished and completed, another project pops out again which is really frustrating.

By the way, I have gotten my MST results during these two weeks. I have to say that the results are within my expectation and some results are really shocking to me. For example, I did not expect my Principles of Accounting to get a low A. This is not the results I want since I emphasize on getting good grades for this module. Another module is the Statistics for Business which surpass my expectation as I have gotten top of my class. This is because the questions are tough and tricky which really shocked me especially the theory questions. But I still need to get at least 72 marks in my final exam to get an A for this module. But I have no confidence at all since this module test all the chapters in the whole year. I have to really work hard to achieve my target of getting a GPA of 3.5 in my course. But I have to first do well for the rest of my projects so as to pull up the marks for the rest of my modules.

Although I have gotten good grades for the MST, I am really saddened by the results of the experiential project. This projects involves us playing a taboo game where we must let our group mates guess the word on our cards and without saying the taboo words and without actions. Although this game looks easy, but when I started playing this game, I am lost for words and am feeling nervous. I think that I am a burden to the team as I could not hint the words to my mates which causes us to lose the first round. However, my spirits went up when I guessed the majority of the words in the second round which caused us to get 10 points which is like so miserable but we still have the upcoming report to pull our marks up. Jiayou everybody!!!

Wa, what a really long post. Guys, have to sign off now. Will update maybe during Chinese New Year or after all my exams have ended.

Another new year is coming

Man, a few more hours to 2009. This is so fast, hoped that I can turn back time to enjoy my life. Haha. I would have to say that this year is quite a good and satisfactory year for me because I acheved my target for my O-levels which is to enter the Accountancy course in Singapore Polytechnic. Secondly, I made many great friends in my course which really lets me believe that true friendships really do exist. Thirdly, I have learnt how to deal with people better and not hurt other people feelings easily. I could also control my temper much more easily and think things calmly and solve it.

I really hope that 2009 will be a better year for me. My new year's resolution??? I hope that I an get a GPA of at least 3.5 for my semester exams. Secondly, I hope to make more friends in my GEMs course because I really feel that going to GEMs is just another lesson and I will always feel boring there. Thirldy, I really hope that my two other friends will patch and be great friends again. That's all about it!!!!!

Frankly speaking,my family did not have the knack of celebrating xmas by inviting everybody to the house for gathering or gift exchange. Feels that it is a waste of time.Haha,cuz we needed to prepare presents and clean up the house for the gathering which is so troublesome.

Although it is holidays for me at the present moment, but I have to woke up as early as 7am to prepare to catch a movie with my parents where the tickets is given to her by her office. The movie that we are going to see is Yes Man featuring Jim Carrey. Feeling pretty tired while going to Suntec City to watch the movie. However, I thnk it is movie worth for me to wake up and watch it with my family because this movie is a hilarious movie. The movie is about a man who is Jim Carrey who always say NO to people, whether i is accepting calls from unknown people or attending gatherings. This causes him to be a lonesome person which causes his best friends to dislike him(sounds like me). But his stranger invited him to attend a seminar which prompted him to say YES to everyone. After attending the seminar, it really changed his lives as he get promotions and get a new girlfriend on the way.

I would recommend this movie which is suitable for families of all ages as it is really a heartwarming movie and this movie will cheer you when you are moody or feeling down.

While going to Suntec City, I have to fetch my brother and his girlfriend to their workplace because it was raining cats and dogs. Managed to catch a sight of their workplace which is Ernst and Young and PriceWaterCoopers respectively. Man,their workplace is not like a workplace but it is like a hotel because it is really nicely decoreated. Hope to work in these accounting firms when I graduate. Really have to work hard for the next 2 yrs to get into a good local university.

Last but not least, I also went to my elder brother house to visit his newborn son. Man,he really looks hot and handsome.Did not manage to take photo with him because no camera and I could not carry him. Haha.

2 hours and 33 minutes to my 18th birthday

Man,18 years have passed just like a blink of an eye. 18 years can be either described as very long or very short but in my own opinion,I felt that I did not cherish these 18 years.Firstly,I regret that I did not cherish my grandmother who had passed away 10 years ago.She was a fantastic grandmother who dotes on his every grandchildren.But I felt that I did not fulfil my duty as a grandchild well because I could not take care of her and achieve good results for her when she was alive.Before she passed away,I was not obedient at all and would throw tantrums at times when I she did not buy me toys which I want.Moreover,I would also skip school by feigning pain with my legs since I am handicapped.I really hope that she was still alive now,seeing and witnessing me get good results for my exams and modules.Thanks grandmother for your love and care that you had showered on me.I would continue work hard.

Through these 18 years,I have learned a lot of things.Firstly,to cherish everyone by your side.Secondly,be positive and optimistic when faced with obstacles and not give up so easily.

I had always made a simple wish during my birthday.The wish is to see my family have a happy and enriched life.I also hope that they can stay by my side at all times no matter what happens.I also hope that I can make progress in life.

One week of holiday have passed and I did not do anything significant at all except watching Hong Kong serials in my laptop and going to facebook and friendster.Such a boring life:(.After watching so many Hong Kong serials,my favourite all time serials is Moonlight Resonance because this show contained lots of laughter and must be prepared with tissue papers at all times because this serials can make you cry.Please watch this serials because it is really nice and good.

Man,I felt so elated today because I have at long last finished my MST which is "most suckiest ever" in my opinion. LOL. The reason is because there is no one week break for us to study for the exams which makes it so rush for. Moreover,we also have to finished and complete our projects on time which makes it so sucky and so frustrating.

Nothing to blog about the MST because it is over and what's over is over. We can't take the paper again and correct the mistakes. But I have to say I have a difficult and tiring day last night because I have to memorize the concepts of ECONOMICS which makes it so boring and difficult for me. Although there is only 3 chapters tested in the ECONOMICS test, but the notes and formulas and concepts are so wordy that it makes it so difficult to study. Haiz,hope that I can get a satisfactory results when school reopens.

By the way,during the last few weeks,I really feel sandwiched between two of my friends because they are just like enemies,not talking to each other and what makes it weirder is that the two are very good friends before that. I really wanted to know what happened between them and really patch them together again. Not only that,we have one more group project in progress but it seems like they are not working together just last semester. Man,I wished that everything would be back to norma; just like last semester!!!!

I have at last updated my blog,been too busy lately. Overloaded and overworked by projects,assignments and tests.Really hope that Christmas will come asap and start the holidays because I am really exhausted by all the work.Feeling so stressed for the first time since I entered polytechnic.

As you have seen in my last post of my blog,I have mentioned that I did not want somebody to join our group projects.But guess what,we are so "lucky" that we managed to select him after drawing lots when the rest of my groups don't want him to join their group too.Also feeling pissed that someone is a hypocrite in our class,trying to act goody-goody and be the good person.Been in a bad mood after this incident.

Friday(14/11)
Went to Vivocity today to do our IDEAS project.Vivocity is so huge that we could not make our mind to lunch at where.Finally made up our mind to eat at The Mussels Guys Restaurant.Ordered a set lunch and I found that the Cream of mushroom soup is nice but other than that,everything is just normal.Anyway,when my friend,zhenyu ordered the sweet and sour fish with aromatic rice,it really looks like economical rice that we usually ate at our coffeshops.Haha,make a laugh about it.After that walk walk and see see to Best Denki to shop for electrical products.But in the end decided not to buy anything because it is not within our budget and we are broke.After that,went home and just rot at home.

By the way,there is a new Hong Kong serials showing in Channel U called Forensic Heroes.Find the show very nice and captivating.Too bad cannot find the cantonese version of this serial after searching tudou and crunchyroll.If you managed to know the cantonese version,please drop me a message and tell me.Thanks.By the way today too tired,did not manage to catch today's episode when I slept halfway through the show.Shit.

2 weeks have been over since school reopens.Nothing much happened in school except I am going to have exams and assignments in the next few weeks time.

By the way,feeling really cold n shivery since school reopens because it has beeb raining cats and dogs recently and SP air-conditioner is getting stronger and colder by the day.Really hope they can lower the temperature of the lecture theatre.Even my classmates and friends said it was cold in MLT12.I also wished that God will give us more sunshine instead of rain everyday.My mood has been affected by the weather too(please answer my prayers,god)

As mentioned in my previous post,I said that I am excited to return back to poly.But nowadays I have been feeling like a loner with nobody to talk to.It seems like everything has changed since last semester.It just feels like I have been back to secondary school days with no close friends.I really hate to go back this kind of life again because it really sucks!!!I do not want to spend the next three years in poly just like I have spent it in secondary school.Like zhenyu said,our class has their own cliques and it is not like a class.Really hope that things would improve over time.

By the way,this weekend's EPL match is really nail-biting and anticipating.It is a match between Liverpool vs Chelsea.This is potentially the decider whether Liverpool can really broke the 18 years duck of not winning an EPL title.Come on Liverpool,come on Torres and Gerrard and come on Keane and score your first EPL goal during the Chelsea and break their unbeaten home record and beat the hell out of them. Haha

School has reopened

As you can see from my title,the dreadful timetable,lessons and tutorials is coming back again.The early morning lessons and monotonous lectures is starting to disturb me.Haiz,this is getting on my nerves.Grrr...

But the beneficial thing about going back to poly life is that I can finally see and talk to my friends after six weeks of vacation and rotting at home,feeling so bored.However,the bad thing about returning to poly is to see a person that I detest.Haiz

Nothing significant happened this week but I have a few complaints about SP.Why must they always call us to buy textbooks when we are using it for only one semester.By the way,the books are really expensive and now that inflation has kicked in,we are really tight in our pockets.Moreover,we as teenagers are not working full-time so how can we afford to fork out so much money for the books.Our parents are also not better off than us since they need to pay our daily necessities for example.electricity. Really hope that they can change this policy.

Will not be updating my blog as frequently because of my busy schedule. See ya all

Frustrated

As you can see my blog title, I am feeling really pissed off and frustrated because I cannot apply my desired GEM: Psychology and counselling but wth when I enter the module title into the GEM, nothing appears in my screen. WHat happened??? Is this GEM not available anymore??? Then why they include this GEM into the GEMs website :@cfi

Tried to choose my 2nd choice which is mathematical games and puzzles but WTH again,there are no seats available. Really felt down on my luck sia. Fucked up!!!

Anyway, as a last resort, chose the effective negotiation skills which doesn't interest me at all but really am forced to choose this GEM because there are either no more seats available in other GEMs or they reall doesn;t get me excited about. Haiz

As you all know, yesterday marks the start of the historic first night Grand Prix race in Singapore. Like all other Singaporeans, I watched the Grand Prix on television. At first, I predicted that Felipe Massa is going to win the first night race because he is going to take pole position in the night race.

However, God do not want this to happen and a chain of events happened which caused him to lose the title. Firstly, as Massa was going to exit his pitlane, he drove out of it with the fuel nozzle attached to his car. This caused him to lose precious seconds as they attempted to take out the nozzle. Hence, he loses the chance to take the first night race title.

Shockingly, Alonso won the title. Since Massa has lost pole position, the second favourite Lewis Hamilton would be the heavy favourites to win the race. However, Alonso shockingly took the title from him when he came out 15th during the starting grid to emerge first from the race. This really shocked me because Renault is not as good as Ferrari. No matter, I felt happy and elated for Alonso to overcome the odds and win the title since his last Italian Grand Prix win. Congrats to him and also really hope that Massa could win the drivers championship from Hamilton.

Final comments to this year night race: After I have seen the Grand Prix, I really feels proud to be Singaporean as this event helps to put us in the world map. I really hope the the next four years Grand Prix will be as this year. I have also learnt from this race that no matter do not give until the last minute as MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!!

Watched the merseyside derby in my laptop. During watching the course of the match, I really feels that buying Robbie Keane is a wrong and regrettable decision. Although he contributed the 2 goals that Torres scored, I felt that he does not have a good chemistry that Gerrard and Torres had last season. They were just scoring goals for fun last year. Spending 20 million pounds for a striker who cannot score is just like throwing the $ into rubbish. Benitez should have bought Villa instead. Other than that, a good game for torres. Really hope that he could continue on this form and guide Liverpool to the title this year. This is the best start that Liverpool have experienced in the league since 1990. Best of luck to them :)

Just did not do anything today. Basically, to rot at home. LOL. Just continue the same routine:eat,sleep,play fifa online and eat and finally sleep again. Really boring life. Haiz. Really hope that somebody will call me go out instead of staying home all day....

Had the same routine. Wanted to go and eat and Din Tai Feng for dinner but mum rejected the idea because it is too exp. LOL. I wonder, why can't she go since we did not have a family gathering for a long time. Haiz. Going to feel lonely as my second brother are going to get a new house and move out which leaves me with just my father and my mother alone in this house. Nobody to talk to except my parents. Haiz

By the way, couldn't feel more happy and elated when my uncle called me and he told me he could arrange for me to meet jacky wu. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me personally since I could not get cloase to him even if I go to taiwan. Really hope that I could meet him since I could only watch him on television most of the time. Hope to hear the good news.

By the way, don't think I will be blogging frequently since I will go through the same routine unless there is something interesting happening to me or my surrounding. Bye.
